HOME UNION HOUSE

The redesign of two bathrooms, inspired by our clients’ love of mid century design and their fabulous collection of timeless yet futuristic vintage furniture and lighting.

We love this project for its truly collaborative nature. The owners, designers and makers in their own right, reached out to us to assist with bathroom layouts and architectural details. In the case of the blue / darker hued bathroom, they came to us with a palette, and we worked together to update the bathroom layout; we carved out a space for an entry coat closet, removed the washer / dryer and relocated all of the plumbing fixtures. For the upstairs / lighter hued primary suite bath, we worked together to develop the layout as well as the specifications for the Bauhaus inspired palette and fixtures. Additionally, we joined forces on the design for the custom floating Douglas fir vanities in both baths, which the owners fabricated themselves.
